David Michael Wilson

David Michael “Mike” Wilson 57, passed away peacefully on July 22, 2022, at UNC Hospital in Chapel Hill, NC.

Mike was born in Smithfield, NC, to the late Wilbert and Geraldine Wilson on November 3, 1964.

Mike is survived by his sister Kelly Celis (Jose Celis); nieces, Melinda Lloyd (Justin Lloyd) and Jessica Celis (Brian Houser); nephew, Kaleb Wilson; uncle, Odis Pate (Jean Pate); cousin, David Pate (Kim Pate) and many friends.

In addition to hi s parents, Mike is preceded in death by sisters, Penny Dorman and Angela Wilson.

Mike will be remembered for his love for helping others, being a Tar Heel fan, and being the smiling face of the Daniel Boone Shell Station for many years.

Hudson funeral home is assisting family with funeral arrangements.
