DURHAM-Mr. David Parker McCotter of Durham, 42, died on Friday, August 26, 2011. He was a self-employed plumbing contractor. He served in the US Navy. He was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church. He is survived by his parents; Clifton L. McCotter Jr. and Margaret Brown McCotter, two sons; David P. McCotter Jr. (Rebekah), Douglas J. McCotter, four daughters; Kimberly S. McCotter, Hope A. McCotter, Faith N. McCotter and Charity A. McCotter.Funeral services will be held on Monday at 2:00 p.m. at Fellowship Baptist Church. Dr. Rick Finley will officiate. Burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Home.
