Cathy White Petty

Mrs. Cathy W. Petty, the daughter of the late Henry and Thelma White, passed away on Saturday February 8, 2025, at the age of 74, after a brief illness. A resident of Boyce Road in Creedmoor, NC, Mrs. Petty was a member of Glenn School Road Baptist Church in Durham, NC. 

She is survived by her husband, Phillip Petty, and two sons, Jason Petty (Candace), and Bruce Warren of Creedmoor; one brother, Larry White (Ruth) of Monroe, NC, and one sister, Sharron W. Oakley (Wayne); six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; and special friends, Alan Riley & Denise Kuhne. 

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday February 22, 2025, at Covenant Life Church, 229 East B Street, Butner, NC 27509 with the Reverend David Akers officiating.  

Flowers are acceptable and should be delivered to the church
