Catherine Marie Mead

DURHAM Mrs. Catherine Marie Mead, 91, of Durham, died on Friday, February 22, 2013.Mrs. Mead was born in Pinellas County, Florida to the late Clifton Henry Geilhard and Katherine Michel Geilhard. She was member of the Our Lady of Mercy in Port Chester, New York. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Ruth O’Brien and Geraldine Tompkins.She is survived by her husband of 72 years, Robert Mead; three sons, Brian Mead of Durham, Robert Mead (Jean) of Arlington, Vt., Gary Mead (Darlene) of Durham; 6 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 2, 2013 at 2 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Chapel. Memorial donations can be made to a charity of one’s choice.
