Carolyn Oakley Rigsbee

Mrs. Carolyn Rigsbee, age 86, passed away peacefully on April 14, 2024 at the Duke Hospice, Hock Family Pavilion in Durham NC.

Mrs. Carolyn Rigsbee was born February 18, 1938 to the late James and Lucettie Ruth Oakley. Carolyn grew up and enjoyed life in Durham NC with her six sisters and family. Carolyn worked and retired from the Liggett Group in Durham NC. She was the mother of Cheryl Moreland and Michael Frick and a loving aunt to her nieces and nephews.  Carolyn loved gardening, time with her friends and her faith.

Mrs. Carolyn Rigsbee is survived by her son Michael Frick, grandchildren, Rachel Phelps, Benjamin Frick, Matthew Frick and great granddaughter Margaret Phelps.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 19,2024 at the Hudson Funeral Home Chapel, 211 S. Miami Blvd Durham NC.
