Carolyn Sue Alloway

DURHAM- Mrs. Carolyn Sue Workman Alloway, 73, passed away on Tuesday, November 3, 2020.

Mrs. Alloway was born on March 18, 1947 to James and Amy Workman in Logan, West Virginia. She was a member of Berea Baptist Church in Durham, NC. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Mrs. Alloway was preceded in death by her parents, James and Amy Workman, and husband, Herman W. Alloway; and brother, Buddy (Earl) Workman.

Mrs. Alloway is survived by her daughters Amy Rigsbee (Greg, Sr.) and Katina Stubblefield; brother, Jackie Workman; sisters, Wanda Gallagher and Ella Farantatos; 6 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, November 6, 2020 at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens. Officiating will be Reverend Robbie Wortham. Pallbearers will be Greg Rigsbee, Sr., Greg Rigsbee, Jr., Wesley Rigsbee, Dean Bledsoe, and Tim Baker.
