BISHOPDURHAM Mrs. Carol Smith Bishop, 74, of Durham passed away on Saturday, October 9, 2010 at her home with her family and her beloved cat Sasha.She was a retired Realtor. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Richard Bishop and her parents, Karl and Harriet Tyler Smith. She is survived by her son, Don Hoskins of Raleigh; three daughters, Denise Sherwood and husband, Ken of Durham, Marla Hoskins of La Jolla, California, and Tari Ryckaert of Durham; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.Funeral services will be held on Friday at 11 a.m. at Hudson Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Markham Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Home.
