Bruce Winford Cotton

CREEDMOOR Mr. Bruce Winford Cotton, 74, of Creedmoor, died on Wednesday, August 22, 2012.Mr. Cotton was a native of Durham, the son of the late Coy Roosevelt Cotton and Aurey Perry Cotton. He served in the U. S. States Navy and was self-employed in the Entertainment Business. He was preceded in death by a sister, Carolyn Carden.He is survived by his son, Bruce Logan Cotton; daughters, Kim Price, Lauren Anderson, Deborah Cotton, Robin Lane and Lisa Woodruff; brothers, Barry Cotton and Micky Cotton; sisters, Barbara Blanchard and Frances Short; 12 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.Funeral services will be held on Friday at 2 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Chapel, officiated by Pastor Jimmy Jones and Pastor Roger Wall. Burial will be in Oak Grove Memorial Gardens.The family will receive friends on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Home. Flowers are acceptable.
