Mrs. Brigida F. Hernandez, age 89, passed away on January 1, 2022.
Brigida was born on April 11, 1932 in Punta Alegre, Cuba, a daughter of the late Guillermo Baeza and Blanca Sosa Baeza.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Hernandez was preceded in death by her loving husband, Fabio L. Hernandez; brother, Enrique Baeza; and sister, Elena Bernal.
Mrs. Hernandez is survived by her sons, Fabio G. Hernandez and Santiago N. Hernandez (Teila); daughter, Ramona N. Guevara; brother, Guillermo L. Baeza (Edesa); and grandchildren, Miguel R. Guevara (Vanessa), Santiago G. Hernandez, and Nadia R. Hernandez.
A visitation will be held an hour prior from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 12, 2022 at Holy Infant Catholic Church. A funeral mass will follow at 11:00 a.m. in the Holy Infant Catholic Church. Officiating will be Father Robert Rutledge. Burial will be held 10:00 a.m. Friday, January 14, 2022 at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Silver Spring, MD.
Flowers are acceptable.
