Brad Ray Kelly

DURHAM- Mr. Brad Ray Kelly, 40, passed away on Saturday, March 21, 2020.

Mr. Kelly was born on March 10, 1980 to Michael and Elaine Kelly in Durham, NC. He worked with his father at Kelly Quality Snacks and Sports Cards Unlimited. Brad played sports throughout his life and loved all sports, especially golf and bowling, and enjoyed watching Jeopardy. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

Mr. Kelly was preceded in death by his mother, Mary “Elaine” Kelly; grandmothers, Ramona Allen DeLong and Laverne “Sue” Kelly; grandfathers, John Guy DeLong and Jack Ray Kelly; uncle, James Stanley DeLong; and aunt, Nancy Bowen DeLong. He is survived by his father, Michael R. “Mike” Kelly (Brenda Daniel); sisters, Amy K. Schroeder (Mark), Muffin Short (Gene) ; nieces, Maddison Strausbaugh, Hayleigh Schroeder, Reagan Schroeder, and Kayla Schroeder; nephews, Caleb Strausbaugh, and Grayson Schroeder; numerous cousins; special cousins, Erica and Heather DeLong and Holly Rivera; and his lifelong friends, Luigi Tranchese, Kirk Page, Jason Butler, Jeremy Wynne, Paul Jones, Cam Long, who he loved.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
