Billy C. Chesnutt

DURHAM- Mrs. Billy C. Chesnutt, 88, passed away Tuesday, December 27, 2022.

Mrs. Chesnutt was born June 8, 1934, to the late Bill and Jamie Childers in Ripley, Mississippi. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Durham. Mrs. Chesnutt was a great pianist. She was Assistant Chief of Dietetics at the VA Hospital in Durham for 40 years. Mrs. Chesnutt will be remembered as a loving and devoted wife. Her husband, William J. Chesnutt, said she was the best woman he ever knew.

Mrs. Chesnutt is survived by her husband of 63 years, William J. Chesnutt of Durham, NC.
