Betty Lou Glover Taylor, 89, of Durham, North Carolina passed away on January 20, 2026, at Duke Regional Hospital. Mrs. Taylor was born in Nash County on August 3, 1936, to the late Ceba Cornelous and Ruth Carden Glover.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Taylor is preceded in death by a son, Donald Wayne Taylor; daughter, Wendy Marie Taylor; brothers, Earl Glover and Kenneth Glover; sister Peggy Horton.

Mrs. Taylor is survived by her sons, Larry Taylor and wife Helen of Durham, Chris Taylor and wife Cindy also of Durham, Tim Taylor and wife Christine of Roxboro and Dexter Taylor and wife Roseanne of Youngsville; daughter Patty Knott of Durham; sister Alice Ray; several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Mrs. Taylor was of the Pentecostal faith. She was deeply devoted to her family, particularly her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and greatly cherished the time spent with all of her family. She found enjoyment in fishing, trips to the beach, and leisurely rides through the countryside. She also had a fond appreciation for gospel music, as well as classic movies and television programs.

A visitation will be held Saturday January 24, 2026, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Home. A private burial will be held.
