DURHAM Mrs. Bertha Marie Schultz Hurd, 86, of Durham, died on Thursday, April 25, 2013.Mrs. Hurd was born in Appleton NY, to the late Rudolph Schultz and Mary Blumerick Schultz. She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Hurd; son, James Hurd; brother, Ralph Schultz and a sister, Dorothy Argue.She is survived by her daughter, Mary Ann Jepson of Durham; 6 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.There are no services planned at this time.
