Arnetta May Johnson

JOHNSONDURHAM Mrs. Arnetta May Johnson, 87, a resident of Croasdaile Village, died at Durham Regional Hospital on Saturday, May 28, 2011.Mrs. Johnson was a native and lifelong resident of Durham, the daughter of the late Deedy and Ethel Belle Herndon Johnson. She retired from the American Tobacco Company in 1984. She was a member of Angier Avenue Baptist Church. Mrs. Johnson was preceded in death by two sisters, Erlene Tilley and Pauline Boone.She is survived by her daughter, Carolyn Harris, and husband Charles, of Raleigh; granddaughter, Kimberly Harris-Ferrante and great-grandchild, Chaz Ferrante.A private graveside service will be held.The family will receive friends on Monday from 6 to 7 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Home. Flowers are acceptable.
