Annie Elizabeth Blaylock

DURHAM- Annie Elizabeth Seagroves Blaylock, 89, died on Friday, November 29, 2013. She was the daughter of the late James Seagroves and Annie Belle Miles Seagroves.  She was a member of Durham Memorial Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Christopher (Cecil) Blaylock.

She is survived by her son Tommy Blaylock of Hillsborough; daughter Peggy Whitley of Durham;  brother Roscoe Seagroves of Chatham Co.;  half-sister, Mary Ann Malone of Thomasville, NC; five grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Monday at 11:00 a.m. at Hudson Funeral Chapel. Pastor Barry Chambers will officiate. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Park. Active pallbearers will be Jason Vaughn, Bill McBroom, Bud Clonch, Paul Whitley, Daniel Walton and Buddy Rich. Honorary pallbearer will be Jimmy Vollers.

The family will receive friends on Sunday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Home and other times at the home, 713 Martin St. Flowers are acceptable. Online condolences can be made at www.hudsonfuneralhome.com.
