Ann Hoggard Ellis was born on August 11, 1926, in Clayton, NC and passed away on August 27, 2023.

She was predeceased by her husband, James W. Ellis. They raised two daughters, Betty Stephenson and Barbara Flynn; and their families; 5 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

She was an active member of VFW auxiliary and served as President for a term.

Serving as pallbearers will be John Thomas Oakley, Tommy Oakley, Mark Flynn, Kris Flynn, J.L. Dillard and Eddie Atkins. Serving as  honorary pallbearers will be Kendall Fletcher and Kevin Stephens.

A visitation will be held from 12:30-1:30 p.m., Friday, September 1, 2023, at Hudson Funeral Home with a Graveside Service following at 2:00 p.m. at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens. Officiating will be Rev. Dale Brooks.
