Andrew Willis Harris

DURHAM Mr. Andrew Willis Harris, 68, of Durham, died on Monday, January 16, 2017.
Mr. Harris was a native and lifelong resident of Durham, the son of the late Edward Lee Harris and Maggie Williams Harris. He retired from Matthews Body Shop. He was a member of the Archeology Society of Chapel Hill, collector of pocket knives, arrowheads, coins and was a Civil War enthusiast. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Mr. Harris was preceded in death by two brothers, Thomas Lee Harris, Dennis Lee Harris; sister, Mary Lou Harris, and a niece, Angela Maitland.
He is survived by his wife, Brenda Mullin Harris; three daughters, Sandra Elaine Hurt, Stephanie Lee Church and Maggie Evelyn Clark.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 19, 2017 at 2 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Chapel. Pastor Donnie Cash will officiate. Burial will be in Old Union Grove Church Cemetery on Coley Road.
