Alice Broughton Harris

DURHAM- Mrs. Alice Broughton Harris, 78, passed away Thursday, November 19, 2020 at the Seasons at Southpoint.

Mrs. Harris was born February 20, 1942 to the late Robert Eugene and Caureal Fogleman Broughton in Durham, NC. She retired from GlaxoSmithKline. She is remembered as being a member of Gorman Baptist Church choir and the handbell group, the Second Time Arounders tap dance group and the Unicorn Club of the Triangle.

Mrs. Harris will be remembered as a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

Mrs. Harris is preceded in death by her husband, F. Boyd Harris; grandson, Lucas Wall; parents, Robert Eugene and Caureal Broughton.

Mrs. Harris is survived by her daughters, Tonya Wall (Steven) of Durham, Adrienne Todd (Ron Greger) of Durham; sisters, Bobbie Swanson of Davie, FL, Dana Patridge of Tyler, TX; grandchildren, Lauren Wall Dickerson (Kyle), Cody B. Todd of Greensboro, NC; great grandson, Carson Wall.

A graveside service will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday, November 23, 2020 at Woodlawn Memorial Park. Officiating will be Pastor Craig Phelps.
