William Keith Fowler

DURHAM- Mr. William Keith Fowler, 71, passed away Saturday, May 12, 2018 after a courageous battle with cancer at Hock Family Pavilion Hospice House.Mr. Fowler was born February 1, 1947 in Royston, GA to the late Julian and Macy Fowler. He grew up in Mt. Holly and graduated from high school class of 1965. Mr. Fowler was an active and outgoing member of Fellowship Baptist Church. He was a longtime member of Durham Masonic Lodge 352 and was a Past Master. Mr. Fowler enjoyed the outdoors and loved to fish and camp. He loved his grandchildren and being with family and friends. Mr. Fowler will be remembered as a strong and loving man with a positive attitude and great sense of humor. Mr. Fowler proudly served his country in the United States Navy during Vietnam.Mr. Fowler is survived by his loving wife Patti Gebhart Fowler of 34 years; children, Dana Michelle Turner, John Keith Barnes, and Shaynee Louise Doby; siblings, Debbie Petersen (Art), Tim Fowler, Julianne Anderson (Mike), Susie Rowsey (Brian), Chris Fowler (Amber); grandchildren, Kaitlyn Doby and Dylan Doby; special friend, Sandra Duke and other loving family members and friends.A visitation will be held Monday, May 14, 2018 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at Fellowship Baptist Church.
