Sylvia Kerr Choplin

JEFFERSON- Mrs. Sylvia Kerr Choplin, 89, passed away Friday, May 11, 2018 at Margate Health and Rehab in Jefferson, NC.
Mrs. Choplin was born July 2, 1928 in Durham to the late Otha and Alma Kerr. She loved her brothers and her friends. She always enjoyed having visitors and being surrounded by her friends. Mrs. Choplin had a love for flowers and plants and enjoyed eating out. She was a former member of Sorrells Grove Baptist Church.
Mrs. Choplin is preceded in death by her husband, Coy Choplin; brothers, Bobby Kerr and Dale Brennette.
Mrs. Choplin is survived by her special friend and caregiver for over 16 years, Crystal Holman and husband Robbie.
Mrs. Choplin was buried next to her husband on Thursday, May 24, 2018 in Sorrells Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
