Rodney Scott Blakely

DURHAM- Rodney Scott Blakely, 61, of Durham died on Sunday, September 7, 2014. He was the son of the late Theodore Roosevelt Blakely, Jr. and Virginia Hodges Blakely. He worked for Taylor Oil Co. and Northgate Mall in maintenance. He was of the Baptist faith.

He is survived by two sisters, Diane Young of Dunn, NC; Janet Blakely Brady of High Point; two nephews, Wesley Young and Bradley Young, five great nieces and nephews, Meadow Young, Devin Evans, Damien Evans, Kylee Young and Corbin Young.

Graveside service will be held on Thursday at 1:30 p.m. at Guildford County Memorial Park in Greensboro, NC. Pastor Joel Angel will officiate.
