Rhonda Ann “Tootsie” Keith

DURHAM-Rhonda Ann  “Tootsie” Keith, 58, of Durham died on Friday, April 4, 2014. She was a native and lifelong resident of Durham. She was the daughter of the late Azzie Keith. She was a member of Freedom Baptist Church, loved her Church and always enjoyed the Lord’s Supper at Church. She also enjoyed watching TV. She was preceded in death by her guardian parents Lucy and Ovid Morton.

She is survived by four brothers, Willie Keith, Ray Keith, Carlyle Morton and Sam Morton, five sisters, Azzie Lee Salmon, Mary Roberts, Wilma Garner, Jo Ann Rozier and Linda Smith.

Graveside service will be held on Monday at 2:00 p.m. at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens.  Pastor John Rigsbee will officiate.

The family will receive friends on Monday from 12:00 noon to 1:30 p.m. prior to the service at Hudson Funeral Home.  Flowers are acceptable or donations can be made to Down Syndrome Clinic, Lenox Baker Children’s Hospital, 3000 Erwin Rd., Durham, NC 27705.
