Rebecca “Becky” James

DURHAM- Rebecca “Becky” Rigsbee James, 73, of  Efland, NC passed away on Sunday, April 19, 2015. She was the daughter of the late Elvis Rigsbee and Alger Forsythe Rigsbee. Becky was a secretary for Special Education Financing. She loved to dance and go the mountains. Most of all she enjoyed her children and especially her grandchildren. She will be remembered as a sweet and loving mother and grandmother. Becky will be missed by everyone blessed to have known her. She was preceded in death by her brother, Elvis Rigsbee, Jr.

She is survived by daughters, Tammy Goss Mangum and husband Frank, Kim Goss and fiancé Spencer Thomasson; grandchildren, Carson Thomasson, Kristina Parrish and husband Cameron, David Andrews and Frankie Mangum; Aunt Rose Hicks; her best friend JoAnn Cartner who was like a sister and numerous other loving family members and friends.

Family will receive friends prior to the service on Sunday, April 26 starting at 2:00 p.m. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Chapel, 211 S. Miami Blvd. Durham.
