Nancy Faye Thompson

DURHAM Miss Nancy Faye Thompson, 73, of Butner, died on Sunday, July 5, 2015. She lived most of her life in Durham before moving to Butner.

She was the daughter of the late Norfleet Thompson and Ethel Brockwell Thompson. She loved to cook and draw/color and loved her baby dolls. She was of the Methodist faith. She was preceded in death by her brother, Gerald Wayne Thompson and sister, Dorothy “Dot” Thompson.

She is survived by her brother, Donald Rodwell Thompson; sister, Shirley Perry and husband, Randy; nephews, Scott Thompson, Wayne Thompson and Keith Thompson; nieces, Denise Workman, Kimberly Perry and Tracy Thompson.

Graveside memorial services will be held on Saturday, July 25, 2015, at 2 p.m. at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens. Rev. Brock Meyer will officiate.
