Keith Eugene Leese

July 22, 1957 — December 8, 2014

DURHAM Mr. Keith Eugene Leese, 57, of Durham, died on Monday, December 8, 2014. Keith was born in York, Pennsylvania. He graduated from NC State University and was formerly a partner with LRC Research LLC as an Environmental Scientist. He was a member of the N.C. Gem Association and the Wolfpack Club. He loved photographing birds, bird watching and was an avid fisherman. He was a charter member of Christus Victor Lutheran Church, where he served on the church council and taught the Youth Sunday School Class. He was preceded in death by his beloved pet, Turbocat.

He is survived by his parents, Niles and Virginia Leese of Durham; three brothers, Kenneth Edward Leese and wife, Jane of Apex, Steven Albert Leese and wife, Kim of Raleigh and Timothy Andrew Leese and wife Dahlia of Fuquay-Varina; 5 nieces, 8 nephews, 1 great-niece and 1 great-nephew.

Funeral services will be held on Friday at 11 a.m. at Christus Victor Lutheran Church. Pastor James Huffman will officiate. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Ken Leese, Steve Leese, Tim Leese, Diylan Leese, Christopher Leese, Sean Sweeny.

The family will receive friends on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Home and other times at the home of his parents, 6424 Amhurst Road. Flowers are acceptable or donations can be made to the Christus Victor Lutheran Church, 1615 East NC Highway 54, Durham, NC 27713.
