Jerri Settlemyre Medlin

ROUGEMONT Mrs. Jerri Lynne Settlemyre Medlin, 53, of Rougemont, died on Sunday, November 08, 2015.
Mrs. Medlin was the daughter of the late Jerry Venoy Settlemyre and Betty Loraine Pearce Settlemyre. She worked 28 years with Biomerieux as a Lab Technician. She was preceded in death by her brother, James Albert “Jimmy” Settlemyre. She was a loving wife, who loved her family, her beloved pet “Grey Kitty” and loved riding her Harley-Davidson Motorcycle. She was of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by her husband of 31 years, Joseph Allen Medlin; three stepsons; Gerald Wayne Medlin, Roger Allen Medlin and John James Medlin; brother, Danny Wayne Settlemyre and wife, Gwen; sister, Rhonda Carden and husband, Perry; 4 step-grandchildren, 3 step great-grandchildren and 4 nephews.
A chapel memorial service will be held on Saturday at 2 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Chapel. Dr. David Chambers will officiate.
The family will receive friends on Saturday from 1 to 2 p.m., before the service at the funeral home and other times at the home.
