Frances Williams Champion

MEBANE Mrs. Frances Williams Champion, 83, of 5537 Burton Chapel Road, died on Sunday, March 29, 2015.

Mrs. Champion was born in Edgecombe County to the late Benjamin R. Williams and Daisy Coley Williams. She retired from Royal Park Uniforms as a seamstress. She was a member of the New Beginnings Ministries. She was a wonderful person and a loving mother and grandmother, who will be missed. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Eugene Champion.

She is survived by her daughter, Barbara Jean Champion of Mebane; three grandchildren, Tina Toney, Chris Riddle and Dane Riddle; 7 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 2^nd at 2 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Chapel. Rev. Bobby Gallagher and Rev. Joel Jackson will officiate. Burial will be in Oak Grove Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Zawar Shah, Peter Monpanaro, Jimmy Champion, Dane Riddle, Chris Riddle, Neil Toney and Chris Jarrett.
