Doris Beck Jackson

GRANVILLE CO.- Doris Beck Jackson, 80, of Creedmoor died on Saturday, October 18, 2014. She was a native and lifelong resident of Granville Co., the daughter of the late Marshall Beck and Thelma Brogden Beck. She retired from Murdoch Developmental Center as a Food Supervisor after 10 years of service. She loved her cats Phebe and Sam, she also loved flowers. She was preceded in death by her husband William Blake Jackson.

She is survived by two sons, Bryant Jackson (Susan) and Doug Jackson both of Creedmoor, three grandchildren, Ashley Allen (Justin), Jessica King (Dustin), Austin Jackson (Julie), five great-grandchildren, Logan, Liam and Elijah Allen, Parker King and Wyatt Jackson.

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at Carolina Memorial Gardens in Creedmoor. Rev. Dan Hill will officiate.  Pallbearers will be Ronnie Brogden, Charles Stancil, Justin Allen, Dustin King, Austin Jackson, W.J. Pendleton.
