Brenda Ann Mapley-Brittle

DURHAM  Mrs. Brenda Ann Mapley-Brittle, 70, of Durham, died on Thursday, March 26, 2015.

Mrs. Mapley-Brittle was born in Liverpool, England to the late Charles Henry Mapley and Dora Greene Mapley. She was a wife, mother and a member of Immanuel Free Will Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Christopher Mapley-Brittle; children,  Col. Jonathan M. Mapley-Brittle of Fayetteville; Ms. Elisabeth Holmes of Durham, Dr. Andrew Mapley-Brittle of Hamptons, N. Y. and James Mapley-Brittle of Durham; one brother, David Mapley of Liverpool, England; 6 grandchildren, Ashley Mapley-Brittle, Victoria Holmes, Jill Mapley, Rugger Mapley-Brittle, Jack Cornwell and Lucy Cornwell.

Memorial services will be held on Wednesday, April 1^st at 6 p.m. at Immanuel Free Will Baptist Church. Rev. Jim Turnbough will officiate.
