Alice Ross Kennedy Guess

DURHAM Alice Ross Kennedy Guess passed away at the age of 91 on Wednesday, December 10, 2014. She was the daughter of the late Floyd Thomas Kennedy and Ollie Wade Bray. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Dewey McClendon Guess, and two sisters, Louise Kerr and Betty Lamb. Mrs. Guess made her living as a secretary and was a member of Gorman Baptist Church.

She is survived by her sons, Thomas Guess and wife Mary Etta of Durham; and Tracy Guess, wife Janet, and son Travis, of Stem.

The family will hold a private service on Friday at the Woodlawn Memorial Park mausoleum with Rev. Warren Kerr and Rev. Leland Kerr presiding.
