The
Hudson Funeral Home was founded in 1919 at Apex, NC, by the late
S. Vance Hudson St., and Mrs. Ora A. Hudson. In 1928, a branch
office was opened in Durham at the corner of Angier Avenue. December
1929, the business was moved to 1800 Angier Avenue. September
1986 Hudson Funeral Home moved to it’s new, and current, location
at 211 S. Miami Blvd.
Today,
Hudson Funeral Home is owned by a third generation family member,
Tommy Hudson and his wife, Mary. Tommy is a licensed funeral director
and embalmer and is an active member of the North Carolina Funeral
Directors Association. Mary is also a licensed funeral director.
