Thomas Hudson, Jr.
Tom is a 3rd generation funeral director and embalmer with over 40 years experience in funeral service. He is a Durham native and a 1970 graduate of Durham High School. He also attended Fork Union Military Academy and graduate of Indiana College of Mortuary Science and also attended of the National Foundation of Funeral Service. He is active in civic organizations such as the Triangle Shrine Club and Oak Grove Masonic Lodge. He is a former member of the Durham City Council and the NC Funeral Director”s Association and National Funeral Director’s Association. He is married to Mary Carter Hudson and has a daughter, Brooke Hudson.

Mary has over 30 years experience in funeral service. She is a graduate of East Carolina University and attended the National Foundation of Funeral Directors. She is a NC License Funeral Director and also is a license Preneed Agent. She has been married to Tom Hudson for 37 years.
Vice-President/Operations Manager/Funeral Director
Ray is a Durham native and has been married to Karen for 40 years and they have one daughter, Sarah. He was employed with IBM for over 38 years and Hudson Funeral Home for over 27 years. Ray is a former member of the Bethesda Volunteer Fire Department and served on the Board of Directors. He is a member and Treasurer of the Bethesda Ruritan Club. He is a 2016 graduate of Fayetteville Technical Community College Funeral Program.
Karen is a Durham native and graduated from Durham High School. She is a member of the Bethesda Ruritan Club.
Chris is a graduate of Commonwealth Institute of Funeral Service and Mortuary Science. He has been in the funeral profession for over 20 years.
Michelle graduated with a Bachelors Degree from Cincinnati College of Mortuary Sciences in 1995. She is a licensed Funeral Director and embalmer in North Carolina and Ohio.
Curtis is a licensed funeral director and embalmer and is semi-retired after 46 years in funeral service. He graduated from the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science in 1958. He is a lifetime member of Sertoma International, past president of the Durham Sertoma Club and a member of Lynn’s Crossroads Ruritan Club. He is a member of Andrews Chapel United Methodist Church.
Tyler B. Noblitt
Tyler is a Durham native, married to Heather. He was a 2011 graduate of Northern High School and a 2016 graduate of Fayetteville Technical Community College Funeral Program. Tyler was employed with Howerton & Bryan Funeral Home (2011-2015). He attends Durham Memorial Baptist Church.
Caleb is a Durham native, graduated high school in 2011, and is currently studying funeral service through Fayetteville Technical Community College. He is an active member of GreyStone Baptist Church and Bethesda Ruritan Club.
Larry is a native of Granville County, married to Peggy for 49 years. They have one daughter and three grandchildren. A member/musician of Stem United Methodist Church. Served in the Military for 31 years, retiring as a Master Sergeant. Graduated from Fuller’s Business College and King’s College. Larry has completed a funeral director’s apprenticeship for the NC Board of Funeral Service. He is the president of the Stem Rurtian Club.
Tony was born and raised in Durham, graduated from Northern High School. He was a former Durham County Deputy Sheriff and owned and operated Lanning & Woods Bail Bonds Company for 30 years. Tony is a member of Bethany United Methodist Church. He is a member of Durham Masonic Lodge #352.
Kenneth comes to Hudson Funeral Home after retiring from John Umstead Hospital with 30 plus years of service. Kenneth currently resides in the Stem/Culbreth community in Granville County with his wife, Linda. They have two two sons, Kevin and Josh.
Cecil is a member of Bethesda Baptist Church and the Bethesda Ruritan Club. Member of Eno Lodge #210 (Past Master), Durham Masonic Lodge #352 (Past Master) and Amran Shrine Temple. He retired from Carolina Trailways.
Steve is a Durham native, married to Deborah of 47 years. They have two children, John and Anna. He attended Campbell College and the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill. He is retired from Petroleum Marketing. He is a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Past Master of Oak Grove Masonic Lodge #750. Member of Amran Shrine Temple. Member of the Board of Governors for the Shrine Bowl of the Carolinas.
